Antonio Margarito said Manny Pacquiao and Top Rank have committed a huge mistake in choosing him to fight the world's pound-for-pound king.
Margarito is facing Pacquiao in a world super-welterweight title fight at Cowboys Stadium in Dallas and the Mexican slugger said he is preparing like never before and that he will shock the world on Nov. 13.
"I guess they were thinking it's an easy fight against a guy with a lot of issues and a lot of weight on his shoulders," Margarito told the Los Angeles Times. "They chose the wrong time to pick me as an opponent."

Khan: Maidana is getting knocked out! Margarito too!

WBA junior welterweight champion Amir Khan is confident about his ability to become the first boxer to knock Marcos Maidana out.
Khan defends his title against Maidana on December 11 at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. Khan, along with his trainer Freddie Roach, have studied tapes on Maidana and worked out a strategy to win impressively.
"Maidana is going to get knocked out. I'm going to box him. I'm not going to make the same mistakes as the other fighters make when they fight him. I'm too clever for that. I have to move and be smart," Khan told FanHouse.
Khan spent the last few weeks in the Philippines, training with Roach and WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao. Khan had the opportunity to spar with Pacquiao over the last few days. He believes the Filipino champion is going to win by knockout, when fights Antonio Margarito on November 13 at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

Some good things never last. This is the reason why Freddie Roach will not prevent Manny Pacquiao from leaving boxing if and when he decides to retire after his title fight with Antonio Margarito on Nov. 13 at the Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
Aware that politics has already gotten half of Pacquiao’s interest following his election as the lone representative in Congress of the province of Sarangani, Roach bared that he’ll counsel the world’s top pound-for-pound fighter to hang up his gloves if he's asked for his opinion on the matter.
“I would tell him to call it a day," said Roach shortly upon arriving in Los Angeles over the weekend after spending the last four weeks helping Pacquiao get in shape at his high-altitude training camp in Baguio City.
“I believe that if that’s where his heart is, then that’s where it is," stressed Roach, 50. “You know, if he beats Antonio Margarito, it would be his eighth world title. And what more would he have to accomplish?."

requested clash between Manny Pacquiao
and Floyd Mayweather, Jr. could take
place in the first quarter of 2011.
“We feel that early next year,
first quarter of next year, we are
optimistic it will happen. It has to
happen,” de la Hoya told
